In my perspective, Globalisation means the international widespread of ideas & activities that has helped in adapting the world to changes.

I have chosen the topic on GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms). A GMO is an organism whose genetic material has been altered through changing it's DNA molecules to either improve it's quality, or to make it more efficient in our lives. Transgenic plants is a very good example. Through genetically modifying it's qualities, agriculture is now more resistant to pests, herbicides, harsh environmental conditions, improved with longer shelflife and it's nutritional value is increased. Farmers all over the world are welcoming this idea because genetically modifying their crops can help them earn more income. Henceforth, with the rising quality of agriculture, the number of consumers have also risen as consumers want better quality food to ensure better health. And now we are also aware of this concept because it proved itself to be a wonderful concept. So to say, the GMO is a good example for explaining Globalization on my part.
