Globalisation is defined as the process by which people, their ideas and their activities in different parts of the world become interconnected or integrated, or to put it simply, it is the process by which the people of the world are unified into a single society and function together.
This picture is a section of my mobile sales and service agreement with the SINGAPORE TELECOMMUNICATION LIMITED or commonly abbreviated as SINGTEL. my reason for choosing this picture is because SINGTEL not only provides mobile phone and fixed line telephone services, they also provide ISP(singnet) and IPTV(mio tv).
The above-mentioned services are forms of communication technology. this made communications among people in different locations faster and more convenient. The internet has enabled consumers to access information about new products and places more conveniently and effectively. It also allows people to exchange ideas with one another even though they are thousand miles away from one another. advances in communication technology are key drivers in globalisation.
With all these, the world has 'shrunk' and we are closer than ever before.
