I chose this photo of McDonald's because my understanding of the term "globalisation" is that it is the growth of ideas or things from a regional or national scale to a global scale. McDonald's is originally from the United States. The owner of this company starts to invest and set up branches in other countries. This then tells me that people from many parts of the world are then able to eat these meals. Looking at it from an Asian's point of view, I think that by doing so, globalisation has taken place as from the original location in USA, the business has expanded globally, allowing us to eat Westernized food. It also tells me that the world, in a way, has "shrunk" as goods like this can be moved around easily in the world.
